Holy cow, this took me forever to create. Several weeks of nothing but coding. What is it? Clemson Archived Testing Material is a community site for Clemson students that allows sharing of tests, study guides, course notes. You name it!
We’re in our first beta, but feel free to log in with your Clemson account and upload whatever you think would be useful to other students. Woke up extra early today why? No idea. So there’s the first mistake of the day. I figured I’d watch something on my pc since i haven’t in oh.. months. Wait what’s this? It no longer plays videos. WTF? I played around with it, installed some fixes, tried to reboot several times. Nothing. No videos, and now my music is fucked up? Oh lord..
So I went to school/work. Got no where with the test database, and at work this damn server kept crashing. So i decided to install Linux on it, which didn’t install the boot loader correctly. I’ll fix that issue tomorrow. So i walked upstairs (around 7:30pm at this time) to tell someone about a website application update.
Coming back down to the office i pull out my keys, find the office key, put it in and turn it. My keyring then decides to break, spread apart, and stab my index finger. Need to look over that last line? Yeah. It broke, stabbed my finger, and all 4 office keys fell to the floor. Now I’m minus a keyring, but I’ve added a band aide
Why me…I’m going to bed before plastic contacts decide to turn into glass and shatter.
So i posted in my blog. Getting ready for bed. And who forgot that all my bedsheets were still in the washer? Me.
So i’ve been too busy for my own good.
The IIS server took about 20 emails between the System Administrator and I to fix. The Directory Index was wrong, permissions were wrong, PHP wasn’t setup to allow for uploads correctly. Many many things that should be fixed BEFORE YOU FUCKING CODE ON IT! Damn..So rather than work on the actual project i’ve been setting up the damn machine.
Let’s move on to English. My group wanted to make an online testbank. I’m the only one that knows how to code. It’s cool though, i always wanted to make one for the optix crowd. So for about..hmm two weeks straight i’ve been coding during the day, during dinner, at work, as I lay on my pillow. Non stop. Here it is though! I also need to put a bigger hard drive in the server so that it can hold the documents. Too bad i don’t have server access. But that’s another rant.
Next class, distributed cluster computing. I convinced the professor to give us an extension on the project. And he did. Which is cool. Because now all 3 are due on Nov 27, but he asked what I was doing and I showed him the basics. His quote was “Oh wow, i have a grad student working on that.” …..A grad student? So i sat around on my ass thinking of what would be cool to do, and I came up with grad work?! …So now i have grad work to do?! ….jesus when will it end…..
