Makoto Shinkai’s second major film and i finally got around to watching it. It was so amazing, and so sad. The animation was wonderful and the colors were so vibrant. The way he animates the sky just makes you want to stare at it forever. This has to be the most beautiful anime i’ve seen in a while. The story was very sad, which seems to be common thing among his films, but it was wonderfully written. I was even on the edge of my seat wondering how it was going to end. I don’t think any type of love story has every physically had me on the edge of my seat before. I know i’m a bit late with it, since it was released March 4th, but i will definitely be purchasing this one. What a wonderful movie!
